Nagula Chavithi

Milk, eggs and chalimidi are offered at anthills, snake holes, with a lamp lit at the mouth. Kept particularly by women for their children's wellbeing and by those with Naga dosha or Kuja dosha in the chart. Distinct from the Shravana Naga Panchami, and both are observed in Andhra.

Chalimidi, a rice flour and jaggery preparation, and chimmili (sesame-jaggery).
